Acne

Acne is a skin condition found commonly in masses. In general, it is also called as blemishes, blackheads, whiteheads, pimples or cysts. In this condition, pimples, which are actually protuberances on the skin, occur profusely. Pimples take shape when skin pores or hair follicles in the skin get clogged by dead skin cells, sebum (an oily secretion) and certain bacteria. Under the skin, the bacteria can multiply very fast and can cause the skin to become irritated and infected. Pimples usually appear on the face, however, they also occur on the back, chest, arms, and neck. It is phenomena, which usually starts in the teenagers and can last into the adulthood. It is gender agnostic i.e. can happen to both boys and girls.
